Kathleen is a 40-year veteran of the fixed income markets, having begun her career when they wrote trades on pink sheets and sent them in tubes. In the early 1980s, she joined Merrill Lynch’s fixed income trading desk, where she spent 20 years progressing up the ladder, culminating as the Director of Sales. The next decade of her career was as a Managing Director of CanDeal, Canada’s inaugural and most successful electronic bond trading platform. From CanDeal, Kathleen joined alternative fixed income manager Lawrence Park Asset Management, where she was the Head of Business Development.
From her early days as one of the few women on a bond trading desk to Partner at Algonquin Capital, Kathleen continues to provide clients with insightful solutions to tackle an ever-changing fixed income landscape.
When not in the office, Kathleen enjoys spending time with family, the cottage life, and remains grounded as a yoga practitioner.
