Alex is a veteran of the fixed-income markets with over twenty years of experience as a portfolio manager and credit analyst across the credit spectrum and geographies. Prior to joining Algonquin, Alex was a vice president and fixed income portfolio manager at Invesco. Previous to that, he was a high-yield credit analyst and portfolio manager for Aberdeen and its predecessor, Credit Suisse Asset Management, in London, England. He began his career as a credit analyst at HSBC Asset Management in London having joined from UBC where he was a member of the UBC Portfolio Management Foundation.
Outside of the office, Alex enjoys skiing, the outdoors, and travelling.
